As demanding as it was, I had experienced the Spiritual growth that I was looking for. Although the climb was very demanding, partially because I was not fully prepared I remember that I always told myself that I could do the climb.
"Where will the Quest lead me next?" I thought to myself.
I remembered that Arthur had written to the legendary American climber Royal Robbins a couple of years ago. Arthur told Royal that after twenty years as an Alpinist he was not sure where to go next to pursue his own Quest.
Royal took the time to answer Arthur's letter. Here was the advice he received from Robbins:
"Well done!" Royal wrote back in reference to how far Arthur had managed to climb up the Mountain. "When you get to the summit, keep on climbing!" Robbins advised.
I respected Royal's mentoring as much as Arthur had, so I continued up the Mountain.
For a while, I would be accompanied by a few students.
