After killing fish for 21 hours straight, we would end up with a deck that is filled with two feet deep Halibut… and they are big fish remember. After catching the fish we would have to clean thousands of pounds of fish that were still on the deck. We would clean fish, and clean more fish, and clean more fish…

Even today, after several years have softened the memories, if people invite me over for dinner, the last thing I want to hear is we are having fish! Especially if I am expected to help clean them.
